Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actress and singer. Her parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her mother is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen's talent for entertainment was discovered at a very young age. When she was in 1992, she was the first to go to an audition. The audition was for an appearance in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell aged 13 when her mother signed to become an agent was cast on ads on newspapers and TV. Bell also began taking acting lessons in private at this time. Bell was on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music and the drama club. In her school's show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell went on to study musical theatre at the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang, but the scene in which Bell appeared was cut. This meant that the credit sequence is all that exists. Bell was in Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
